The Kalowen 250 combines the autonomy and comfort of a complete recreational vehicle with the versatility of a removable truck camper. Once the camper is removed, the truck remains available for work, daily transportation or exploring the surrounding area.
Its compact format also allows the truck to continue towing a boat or trailer, provided the vehicle, hitch and axle capacities are respected.

Select 150/1500-series trucks
Certain full-size 150/1500-series trucks may be compatible when they have:
- Sufficient official payload capacity
- Upgraded or reinforced suspension
- Adequate axle ratings
- An appropriate box and tie-down configuration
Universal fit for common full-size pickup box lengths
The Kalowen 250 is designed to fit the common box lengths used on full-size pickup trucks. Box-length compatibility does not mean that every truck has sufficient payload capacity.
Excluded category
The Kalowen 250 is not designed for midsize trucks such as the Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon or comparable models.
Dual-rear-wheel trucks
The Kalowen 250 is not presented as the model intended for dual-rear-wheel trucks. The Kalowen 350 is the Kalowen model designed for dually configurations.
Final compatibility depends on available payload, GVWR, front and rear axle ratings, exact box dimensions, cab clearance, installed accessories, passenger weight, cargo and the tie-down system. Every truck must be reviewed individually by Kalowen before a customer order is confirmed.

The Kalowen 250 can be used normally after it is removed from the truck. Its electric jacks allow the camper to be lowered, the folding steps maintain easy access, and the owner can leave the camper at the campsite while using the truck independently.

Commercial terms
- Standard lead time: 90 to 120 days
- Grace period: 30 additional days
- Before final design approval, the deposit is refundable less actual design and preparation costs.
- After written design approval and production launch, the deposit is non-refundable.
- If delivery does not occur within the lead time plus the grace period, the customer may accept a new date or request a refund according to the applicable order terms.
Final terms are confirmed in the order documents before the deposit is paid.
